Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) regulates commercial electronic messages (CEMs)—including email with a commercial purpose—sent to electronic addresses in Canada. Consent
We send marketing CEMs only with express or implied consent where CASL permits it. Sign-up forms describe what you are joining, use plain language, and log time and source of consent. Transactional messages (such as a direct reply to your support question) are not marketed as promotions unless you also opted into marketing.
Unsubscribe
Every marketing email includes a no-cost unsubscribe mechanism that remains operative for at least 60 days. Requests are processed within ten business days or sooner. You may also revoke consent by writing to the email address above with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line.
Record keeping
We retain records demonstrating consent, message templates, and unsubscribe logs for the period CASL and related regulations recommend so we can demonstrate compliance to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) or other authorities if required.
